The Puppet-Masters team is responsible for building and improving Fred, Fireflies’ AI meeting assistant bot. The team’s focus is on crafting a smart, intuitive, and reliable bot that can interact with users, take actions in real-time, and enhance the meeting experience.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and refine Fred, the AI meeting assistant
- Work with cutting-edge AI technology to solve real-time problems in meetings
- Collaborate closely with product teams to enhance bot functionality and scalability
- Build and maintain scalable solutions for meeting transcription, note-taking, and automation
- Contribute across the stack to ensure Fred’s seamless performance and accuracy
What You Need:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a software development role as a full-stack engineer, with a strong background in Computer Science/Math/Reasoning skills
- Our tech stack primarily consists of Node.js (TypeScript), MongoDB, and WebSockets. It's event-driven, using a pub-sub architecture, and deployed with Kubernetes.
- Experience shipping fast, reliable, secure applications using modern development tools
- You have experience working on apps that have supported 10,000+ concurrent users
- You understand sound architecture principles and can build scalable infrastructure
